Jacqui Gibson

Chair

Jacqui has been involved in the management of the community centre for over 20 years and has always taken an active part in voluntary work. She used to be a Brownie Guider and District Commissioner for Hoghton District, she is also a school governor at Brindle Gregson Lane Primary School a post she has held for 25 years and she currently acts as Vice Chair within this role.

Jacqui is also a qualified nurse and midwife and is currently employed full time at the University of Central Lancashire as a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery.

Within her paid and voluntary work, she has gained a lot of experience in organising small and large scale events, fundraising, chairing meetings and leadership and is familiar with charity regulations all of which make her a great person to help lead our charity.

Jacqui is committed to the cause as she strongly believes that life is better when there is good community spirit and togetherness and this can be achieved through providing community meeting spaces and facilities.
